Located 25 miles east of Dallas, Texas, in Terrell you will find Equine Veterinary Services, a full-service breeding farm and veterinary clinic. The 38-acre picturesque home of Going To The Doc, located on I-20, includes a full veterinary facility, with mare motels and pasture care for breeding horses.


At Equine Veterinary Services we emphasize quality of care for your mare and foal. Our breeding program includes fresh, cooled or frozen semen services and breeding options tailored to your needs.


Equine Veterinary Services is owned and operated by Dr. Kenton H. Arnold. An active member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, Dr. Arnold holds degrees from Southwest Texas State University and Texas A&M University as well as a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Arnold specializes in reproductive and lameness issues. Dr. Arnold's wife, Carroll Brown Arnold, is a graduate of Southern Methodist University, has completed graduate work at the University of North Texas and works in the fundraising and marketing industry. The Arnold's own Going To The Doc, raise barrel racing and pole bending horses and compete in speed events when time allows. Avid cutters who compete in NCHA and AQHA competitions on a regular basis, the couple also owns the great cutting horse Doc O Lena Twist. The couple resides with their daughter Austria on the farm.


Breeding Manager Adam Conrad is an integral part of the Equine Veterinary Services team overseeing the reproductive segment of the farm. He attended Texas A&M University and has worked in the equine and pet management industry for more than six years. Adam Conrad is an NCHA member and competes in amateur and non-pro events.
